A DVD series for people living with hemophilia

In partnership with a multiple Emmy and Peabody award-winning film crew, Inalex Productions was created in 2006. The result is our first DVD in this series entitled "The Hemophilia Diagnosis for the Parent". A complimentary copy is now being offered to those who qualify by simply completing clicking on the video request link.

This DVD premiered at the 2006 annual meeting of the National Hemophilia Foundation in Philadelphia where it was extremely well received. It was touted as "A must see for all new parents!” and one that “Will give others hope that they too can master their new life.”

This DVD was created for the parent whose child has recently been diagnosed with hemophilia. Includes testimonials from parents on how they felt during their child’s diagnosis as well as how they learned to cope and live with the diagnosis. Information and helpful tips provided by parents, children with hemophilia, and medical and professional experts to provide hope, inspiration and education for a bright future.

This DVD examines how family relationships can be affected by the hemophilia diagnosis, the impact on parents of diagnosed children, and on the grandparents, uncles, aunts and close friends of the newly diagnosed patient, and the importance of the extended family in supporting the diagnosed family. This DVD also demonstrates how hemophilia is genetically transmitted through the family, offers useful advice and suggestions on ways to more effectively manage the diagnosis, as well as offer available resources to the extended family members.
